Program Description: The Architectural and Engineering Drafting Technology (AEDT) diploma program prepares students for employment in a variety of positions in the drafting field, such as drafter or CAD operator. The program provides learning opportunities that introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and technical knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities to upgrade present knowledge and skills or to retrain in drafting. Graduates of the program receive a Diploma with either Mechanical or Architectural, or both specializations.

Employement Opportunities: A graduate may find employment as a drafter with Architects, Engineers or various other commercial and industrial occupations in design, drafting and CAD fields.
