Peace Officer's Training Academy Swearing In Ceremony

Augusta Technical College is pleased to announce that Sheriff Ronnie Strength will be the guest speaker for the Peace Officers Training Academy (POTA) Swearing-In Ceremony for Class 007. We are also proud to announce that 19 students will be graduating in this class.
"We are honored to have [Sheriff Strength] as the keynote speaker for the swearing-in of the seventh class in the academy's history. We appreciate his partnership and commitment of the Richmond County Sheriff's Department to our program," Academy Director Ken Jones said.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at 1p.m., Tuesday, June 26 at the Jack Patrick Information Technology Center (Library) on the Augusta campus.
