SUBJECT:  Minutes of AFCEA board meeting August 31, 2006

1. The meeting was to elect a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasure, and a Membership Leader. Those who that were elect was the following

·        President – Aninicer Whitfield

·        Vice President – Gerald Hendrick

·        Secretary – Shewana Dukes

·        Treasure – Alan Beck

·        Membership Leader – Mark Davis

New member were the following Brain Johnson, Micheal Spines, and Derrick Lamer Atkins.

2. Kimbery Burr has been a member for about 16 years and was the speaker. She gave the new electives highlights are there duties.  What AFCEA were about in help the people in your area and in other areas near and far.  Before meeting was over we talked a date for the next and for making the new elected part of the AFCEA board.

3. The meeting was held in room 212 on the Augusta Technical College Campus.  Next meeting October 12, 2006 in the 600 building.
