Augusta Tech Students Get Toolbox Scholarships
Three heating, ventilation and air conditioning students at Augusta Technical College have been awarded $500 tool box scholarships from the CSRA Conditioned Air Association of Georgia (CAAG).
Terry Avery, a day student, Brian Forte and Freddie Twiggs, both night students, were selected from all students in the HVAC Program at Augusta Tech. The students had to submit a written essay as part of the application for the scholarships. Larry Babbitt, current CSRA CAAG president, along with Dalton Thacker, Augusta Tech Air Conditioning Technology instructor, presented the scholarships at the CAAG monthly meeting.
